Chloroplast differs from leucoplast in terms of colors. It is green in appearance but the latter is colorless.
Chloroplast is pigmented while its compatriot exists without pigments. The former is present in leaves of the plant to facilitate photosynthesis while leucoplast is situated in the roots of the plant and it doesn’t take part in photosynthesis of the plants.
