Chromatin \:

1) chromatin are composed of DNA which is folded around histones which are special proteins.

2) these are not in condensed state.

3) these have lower level of DNA organization.

4) these are not present in pair.

5) these are found throughout cell cycle.

6) best visible by electron microscope.

Chromosomes

1) these are formed when DNA around histones forming chromatin gets condensed.

2) these are in condensed state.

3) these have higher level of DNA organization.

4) these are present in pair.

5) these are usually visible during cell division.

6) best visible by light microscope.
