Difference between chromoplast and chloroplast.?

A chloroplast is a plastid that contains chlorophyll, carotene and xanthophyll pigments and is responsible for prepration of food in plants. Chloroplast are easy to confuse with chromoplast . chromoplast do not contain chlorophyll they do not play any true role in photosynthesis there main job is to 'look a plant pretty' this isnt necessary for human amusment. Instead it is to attaract insects such as bees and buterflies and animals such as rodents
