Chromatin is a material which makes up a chromosome. It is comprised of proteins ad DNA which condense to form chromosome. The primary function of chromatin is to get condense and form a proper structure of chromosome.

Chromosome is a thread like structure which contains out genetic material. A chromosome has two sister chromatids and a centromere that joins them together. These are the genetic material that passes from one generation to another generation.
