Chronoamperometry described by the cottrell equation is defined for diffusion - limited proccess, that there is no convection stirring, flow. This is particularly suitable for sensors based on a singledrop configuration glucose pen. Heydrodynemic electrodes are characterised by a convective transport, such as in the stirred batch cell or in the flow cell.
