- As the distance from sea increases , moderating influence of sea breezes . decreases and we experience extreme weather conditions.
- That is why cities near the sea (kerela) experiences even weather conditions throughout the year but in cities like delhi which is far from sea experiences extreme weather conditions.
- As Kerala is near the coast and receives lot s of rainfall and winds where as delhi is a land locked area
- New Delhi has a humid subtropical climate with dry winters (Cwa) whereas Trivandrum, Kerala has a tropical wet and dry/ savanna climate with dry winters (Aw).
