Here's ur answer:-
1)Coal is formed by carbonization of trees but LPG is the gas product formed by decomposition of planktons under sea bed.
2)Coal when burnt pollutes the environment but LPG when burnt does not pollute the environment.
3) Coal is solid but LPG is liquid when compressed and gas in free state.
