Coleoptile:
The epicotyl is enclosed in a structure called coleoptile.
Coleoptile after emergence from soil during germination becomes green and does photosynthesis.
Coleorhiza:
The radicle and root cap are enclosed in a sheath called coleorhiza.
Coleorhiza does not come out of the soil. It remains non-green.
