Difference between Concave and Convex mirror.

CONCAVE

>>Reflecting surface is bent inwards in concave mirror

>> Concave mirror forms both real and virtual images

CONVEX

>> Reflecting surface is bent outwards in convex mirrors

>> Convex mirror only forms virtual images

. The reflecting surface of concave mirror is bulged inwards

. It produces real and inverted images except when the object is placed between P and F

. It is also known as converging mirror

CONVEX MIRROR

. The reflecting surface of convex mirror is bulged out wards

.it produces virtual and erect image

. it is known as diverging mirrors
