Answer:
Explanation:
Nanomaterials have been influential to human life because of their interesting physical, chemical, optical and electronic properties. Recently, magnetic nanoparticles have attracted the interest of scientists and researchers, due to their possible potential applications in the area of Bio-medicals and clinical applications. The Cancer, a leading cause of death worldwide, has been anticipated to have 16 millions of new cases every year by the year 2020, causing 7 million deaths every year. In this context, Magnetic nanoparticles offer an exciting new alternative for Cancer treatment, with local heating of affected areas, by Hyperthermia therapy. The Iron oxide nanoparticles are ideal candidate for such biomedical applications, due to their well understood biocompatibility, chemical stability and inherent multi-functionality. In this article, we present a review over a variety of conventional and Green synthesis methodologies of Iron Oxide nanoparticle. Our primary focus, here, is to put up a critical comparison among the conventional and Green synthesis methods based on their physical and magnetic properties. The Green synthesis has been believed to be relatively cost effective, ecofriendly, pollutant free, rapid, one-step process, less time and energy consuming and providing homogenous composition, high yield with narrow size distribution compared to other techniques. However several issues such as environmental reactivity, self-aggregation etc. without losing the super paramagnetic behaviour need to be explored and rectified with a more controlled and efficient approaches in natural synthesis methodologies.
