difference between converging and diverging lens


Shri2002: converging lens can form both real and virtual image but diverging lens can form only virtual image
Shri2002: convex can form enlarged image but concave can form only diminished image

If the light rays converge (as in a converging lens), then they will converge to a point. This point isknown as the focal point of theconverging lens. If the light raysdiverge (as in a diverging lens), then the diverging rays can be traced backward.
