difference between copying and moving files and folder​

Key Difference: Copy is to make a copy of the selected file or folder and place the duplicate in another drive or folder, while move is to move the original files from one place to another location. The move command deletes the original files, while copy retains them.

Copying:

the folder will be exist in it's orgin and also where u need to psate...
I mean there will be 2 copies of it...


Moving:

the folder won't exist in it's orgin...
the original copy will be moved where u need without any copies...
I mean u have only one copy of it...
