difference between court of a district judge and sessions judge

Well both are same. The only difference is, when a district court exercises it's jurisdiction on criminal matters under crpc, it's called as sessions court. ... When presided over to hear a civil suit now it is court of District judge. The presiding judgemay be same in both the courts.
