Answer:

Ionic Bond is formed by transfer of electrons while covalent bond is formed by sharing of electrons.

Ionic bond is stronger while covalent bond is competitively weaker.

Ionic bond is hard to break and is therefore present with high boiling and melting point while covalent bond is present with low boiling and melting point.

Ionic bond when in molten state can conduct electricity but confident bond doesn't conduct electricity in any form or state.

Ionic bond is highly soluble than covalent bond.

in ionic bond transfer of electrons take place
here bond is strong electrostatic force is there and they conduct electricity because of moving ions.

in covalent bond sharing of electrons take place
they don't conduct electricity and they don't have strong bond
