There is a great difference between a debit card and a credit card as When we use a debit card, the money is deducted from your own account & when we use a credit card, we're borrowing money to be repaid later.

Funds customers spend using their Debit Cards are directly deducted from their own bank account. While in case of Credit Cards, money is borrowed from a Bank or a Financial Institution and the customer has to pay back the amount at a fixed rate of interest by a specified date.
