1.crop rotation is the process in which one crop is followed by another crop on a agricultural field whereas
multiple cropping is the practice of growing two or more crops in the same piece of land in same growing seasons instead of one crop. It is a form of polyculture.
2.To avoid nutrient deficiencies in the soil farmers use crop rotation and to make soil fertile farmers use multiple cropping.
3. In crop rotation,when cereals are cultivated more nutrients are utilised.But in multiple cropping,the nutrients which are used by one crop will be regained by cultivating another crop.
