Diplopia is disorder of the eye which creates double vision for a single object.
In the case of crossed diplopia, a distant object is fixated before the eye. As a result the patient gets double images of an object near the eye.
In the case of uncrossed diplopia, a near object is fixated before the eye. As a result the patient forms double images of an object far away from the eye.
