Crust- This is the topmost layer of the earth surface... it is 34km
Core-This is the innermost layer of the earth surface..... the core contains of 2 main layers I. e. Inner core and outer core

The crust floats on mantle and is the thinnest and least dense four layers. It is the outer and the hardest layer of the earth.
Earth's core lies beneath the mantle in two layers. The out core which is liquid and the inner core which is solid.
