Difference between crystalline solid and amorphous solid.

The atoms in crystalline solid matter are arranged in regular, repeating .patterns. All other types of solid matter are amorphous or without a regular atomic arrangement. Metals and minerals are crystalline. Glass is amorphous.

Crystalline solid----
1. have definite geometry and have regular geometry
2. have sharp MP.
3. Smooth surface after cutting
4. it shows anisotropy
Amorphous solid-----
1. have indefinite geometry and irregular arrangement.
2.irregular MP
3.Rough surface after cutting
4. it show isotropy.........
