A consumer is a person who consumes or uses the service or product. And
A customer is a person who purchases the product and pays for it.
We can take an example- Like from a bookstore you have purchased a notebook for your brother. Here you are the customer and your brother is the consumer.
Remember that a person can be both customer and consumer if he buys it himself and also consumes/ uses it.
