IN CASE OF DC (DIRECT CURRENT )
THE POLARITY (CHARGE) REMAIN CONSTANT
IT IS NOT PREFERABLE TO TRANSMIT DIRECT CURRENT OVER LONG DISTANCES AS IT HAS HIGH POWER LOSS FACTOR
IN CASE OF AC (ALTERNATING CURRENT )
THE POLARITY CHANGES FREQUENTLY
IT IS PREFERABLE TO USE ALTERNATING CURRENT TO TRANSMIT CURRENT OVER LONG DISTANCES AS IT HAS LOW POWER LOSS FACTOR
THANKS
