i) Delta is created by river where as loess is created by air;
ii) Delta is triangular in shape where as there is no such shape for loess;
iii)Delta is made up of the sediments carrying by the river where as loess is made up of the fine grains of sands;
iv) Example: Ganga-Barhmaputra delta in West Bengal; loess can be found in border areas of western Rajasthan
