Difference between differential screw and compound screw

Hey there..

differential screw uses a spindle with two screw threads of differing leads (aka thread pitch), and possibly opposite handedness, on which two nuts move. The total spacing between the screws, and thus the objects, will be slightly changed based on the difference in travel between the two screws.

differntial screw is a mechanism used gor small n precize adjustmnts between 2 parts and it has 2 screws rotate along the same axis with different pitches, travel in same directions.

compound screw has 2 screws and having same axis and different pitches but they travel different directions.
