Osmosis , it may be defined as movement of water or solvent through of semi - permeable membrane from a solution of low solute concentration to the solution of high solute concentration . It may also be defined as diffusion of solvent i.e solvent will move from it's higher concentration to it's lower concentration .
Diffusion , the process by which a substance uniformly spreads into another substance by random movement of particles from the region of higher concentration to lower concentration . It is faster in gaseous phase and in liquids but in solids the process of diffusion is almost neglible .
plz Mark as brainliest .
Hope it may helps you
