Discrimination means categorising people on account of their colour, caste, financial status, social status, class and other parameters and having different behaviour for different people.
Stereotypes is a term used for a special kind of habit, nature or practice is linked with specific kind of people. Or vice versa.
If a person eats too much cheeze, must be italian.
If a person eats curry, he’s Indian.
Even in India we stereotype people.
If he abuses too much, must be from Uttar Pradesh.
