Difference between Discuss the social reforms and Discuss about the social reforms
Answers
Answer:
Social reform is a type of social change which carries with it specific goals either in terms of what it seeks to achieve (an ideological goal, such as “world peace”), or what it specifically wants to change (amending the protocol for interactions between police and suspects in urban areas to decrease potential for physical altercations).
Social change is a broader term, which can refer to almost anything. A movement from women wearing comfortable, mid weight, loose fitting cotton jeans in the ’90s towards wearing skin hugging, ultra thin, translucent polyester underwear (that we might call “leggings” or “yoga pants” so as to not offend the sensibilities of the women in question) in the 2000s is a type of social change with no clear goal.
