difference between disintegration and decomposition in soil formation

There is no difference between disintegration and decomposition of rocks. Both are same and are involved in the process of weathering. They differ from transportation or erosion , i.e., when they are carried away by some agents like ice, running water, wind, etc. from one place to another place.
