The differences between Displacement and distance..... displacement can be zero but distance never can be zero.....I hope this will help you

jhankarsethi: distance is the path travelled from one point to other whereas displacement is the shortest distance between initial point and final point. distance is a scalar quantity whereas displacement is a vector quantity. distance can not be zero but displacement can be zero
