The differences between Displacement and distance..... displacement can be zero but distance never can be zero.....I hope this will help you

distance is the path travelled from one point to other whereas displacement is the shortest distance between initial point and final point. distance is a scalar quantity whereas displacement is a vector quantity. distance can not be zero but displacement can be zero
