Displacement

When more reactive metal displaces less reactive metal from its aqueous solution

pateldhruv04: Its not proper answer
tanmay1327: Oh

Displacement reaction means single displacement reaction. In this type of reaction only one solution displaces the other. But in double displacement reaction to solutions get displaced.

Ex . single displacement reaction=

Fe +CuSO4------> FeSO4 +Cu

Double displacement reaction=

BaCl2+ NaSO4------->NaCl+ BaSO4
