distance-It is the total length of the actual path covered.
displacement-It is the shortest distance between intial and final position.
displacement-It is the shortest distance between intial and final position.

Hey dear here's ur answer..
1) Distance is speed with time and displacement is shortest distance between initial and final position.
2)Distance is scalar quantity and is always positive, whereas displacement is vector quantity and can be positive or negative.
3) Distance depends upon path followed and displacement doesn't depends on path followed.
