difference between dug well and tube well

Tube wells are the wells from which we pump out the water through a handle present on it. Tube wells can trap water from deep strata. Dug wells are the wells from which we pull the water through a bucket or anything by which can hold the water. In dug well water is collected from water bearing strata.

difference between dug well and tube well is : 
i)  dug wells are cylindrical holes dug in the ground manually to draw water from underground water table .

i) tube wells are pipes bored into the ground to draw water from underground water table . 

ii) manual techniques are generally used to take out water from well .( dug wells )

ii)  pumps are used to take out water from well . (tube wells )

iii) dug wells are generally few steps deep ( 10 - 30 )
iii) tube wells are deeper ( upto 600 feets)

iv) used for drinking and other household works in rural areas .( dug well)
iv) used for irrigation and can be used in rural as well as urban areas .( tube well )
