I'm mentioning the animal group they belong to and the body structure
Earthworm:
They belong to the group annelida
They have a true body cavity, this allows true organs to be present and protected in the body structure.
Their body is segmented.

Tapeworm:
They belong to the group platyhelminthes
There is no true body cavity, in which well developed organs can be accommodated.
The body is flattened dorsoventrally, meaning from top to bottom and hence they are called as flatworms.
They are parasitic worms.

Hope it helps!!
