Echinoderms are radially symmetrical with pnetamerous symmetry. They are spherical, elongated or star shaped and the body is without the well defined head. Respiration is by prristomial gills, papillae. Fertilization is external. Development is indirect. Molluscan are bilaterally symmetrical but few become asymmetrical due to torison (twisting). Body is divisible in head, foot and visceral mass. Circulatory system is of open type.
