difference between economic and non economic activites

◆Economic Activities:-

1)These are the activities which are performed to earn livelihood.

2)It's main aim is to earn maximum profit.

3)Examples like:- A teacher, a doctor etc.



◆Non-Economic Activities:-

1) These are the activities which are performed out of love, sympathy etc.

2)It's Main aim is to earn self satisfaction.

3) Examples like:- A teacher teaching to his sons, mother works for her family etc.

These activities give an income in return.

These are done to earn a livelihood.

For Example :- People going for work in factories ,farm , banks, hospitals,schools,etc.

Non Economic Activites :-

These activities do not give any income in return.

These are done out of compassion ,love and care.

For Example:- Doing social work, helping the poor, going to temple etc.
