Elasticity is the change in one thing due to the change in other thing. Meaning one thing is dependent on the other such as by increase in price the demand decreases

While plasticity is the making of thing in synthetic, using plastic. Or making one thing artificial.

Answer :

Elasticity -

It is the property of a body to regain its original shape and size after the applied force is removed.

The deformation caused due to elasticity is called elastic deformation.

Plasticity -

It is the property of body to get permanently deformed after a force is applied. Even if the applied force is removed, the body remains deformed.

The deformation caused due to plasticity is called plastic deformation.

Examples of elastic bodies -

  • Spring
  • Sponge
