Difference between elecrovalent compound, covalent compound and co-ordinate compound

In a covalent compuond, atoms share the electrons with each other as a mutual relationship for electrons. In coordinate compound, an atom or a group with excess electrons coordinates(transfers) its lone pair of electrons in the vacant orbital of the electron deficient compound.
