The endocrine gland pour their secretion directly in the blood.These glands lack ducts,so these glands are called ductless glands.e.g. -thyroid gland,parathyroid gland whereas pituitary gland is situated in brain known as growth hormone because of body growth by this hormone.It is also known as master gland of the body.
