Epimorphosis is defined as regeneration of new tissues or organs via already existing differentiated tissues in body. Similarly, in morphallaxis, new limbs can be grown by transformation of existing cells.

Difference

Though both processes includes cellular division but in morphallaxis , new cells grow by the reorganization or exchange of the existing cells whereas in epimorphosis, majority of new cells grow by cellular differentiation.
