There are so many differences between preference shares and equity shares e.g.
Equity shares holders are the owner of the company , wheres preference shares holders are not!
Preference shares are those shares on which companies prefer to make payments on preferancial basis wheres equity share holders donot get this aminity...
Preference shares have a specific rate of return like 6% preference shares but equity shares do not have such specifications...
