In case of chlorobenzene,the lone pair of chlorine participate in resonance for this the C-Cl bond becomes partially double bond.so white precipitate of AgCl is not found for C6H5Cl

Ethyl chloride on treatment with aqueous potassium hydroxide result in formation of ethyl alcohol.
C2H5Cl+KOH(aq)➡️C2H5OH
But chloro benzene on treating with aqueous potassium hydroxide does not give any reaction.
C6H5CL+ KOH(aq)➡️No reaction.
C2H5Cl+KOH(aq)➡️C2H5OH
