- They contain many chromosomes.

eukaryotes :-
- eukaryote is an organism whose cells contain a nucleus with a nuclear membrane
- example :- Amoeba and human cheek
prokaryotes :-
- a prokaryote is an organism whose cells contains a nucleus without a nuclear membrane
- example :- bacteria and blue green algae
