difference between evaporation
and vaporization
Answers
Answer:
Hey mate !!!
here is your answer!!!
▶ Vaporization :-
vaporization is a process of change of water into vapour is known as vaporization.
when water is heated after reaching at hundred degree Celsius then the water start boiling.
at this temperature (100° c ) water turn into vapour .
⭐ water boils at hundred degree Celsius to 100 degree celsius is called as boiling point of water.
now ,
▶ EVAPORATION :-
evaporation is a surface
particles which are present at the surface gain enough energy to overcome from the forces of attraction present in a liquid and change into vapour state.
the rate of evaporation is depend on following factor:-
1) nature of liquid :-
different liquid have different rates of evaporation.
for example:-
Acetone evaporate faster than water.
perfume also evaporate faster.
2) rate of evaporation is depend on temperature :-
as we increase the temperature the rate of evaporation is also increase.
as we decrease the temperature the rate of evaporation is also decrease.
3) rate of evaporation is also depend on pressure:-
evaporation decrease with increase in pressure and increase with decrease in pressure.
means the rate of evaporation is directly proportional to pressure.
4) the rate of evaporation is also depend on surface area:-
according to this the rate of evaporation increase with increase in surface area and decrease with decrease in surface area.
evaporation provide / cause cooling.
vaporization doesn't cause cooling.
