1 expansion /extension of deamnd is when the demand increases irrespective of changes in other factors it is extension or expansion of demand .2.the movement along the demand curve is downwards from left to right

when demand changes due to other factors such as population , income etc price remaining the same it is called increase in demand

the movement along the demand curve is upward
