Answer:
Exploratory research:
- Exploratory research is what you are doing to get to know the information.
- You may begin with a hypothesis or question, or you may simply delve into the information to determine what may be of interest to you.
- Exploratory analysis is the method of turning over 100 rocks in order to discover 1 or 2 valuable gemstones.
Explanatory research:
- Explanatory research is what occurs if you have something particular that you want to display to an audience-likely those 1 or 2 precious gems.
- In my blogging and writing, I tend to concentrate on this latter piece, explanatory analysis, when you have already passed through the exploratory analysis and determined something particular you would like to communicate to a specified audience.
