Fiber is the basic filament from which yarn is spun which is further woven into fabric. Fibers can be natural like cotton, flax, hemp, wool or silk or synthetic such as polyester, nylon, acrylic etc. Hope it helps u. We use the word fabric to refer to the material or ingredient used in making the fabric.

Answer:

Fibre is the material or the ingredient that goes into making fabric. Thus cotton fiber is used to make cotton fabric. ... On the other hand, fibre is obtained from natural sources such as plants and animals or it could be synthetic, having been made in factories.

Fabric is a cloth material made by weaving or knitting threads together. ... Fibers are flexible and may be spun into yarn and made into fabrics. Fibers naturally occur in both plants and animals. More than half of the fibers produced are natural fibers. Natural fibers include cotton, hair, fur, silk, and wool.

When several strands of spun fibers are twisted together they form thread/yarn. Then the yarn goes to the mill where it is woven or knitted into fabric. Fiber-yarn-fabric. Fabrics are made from yarn/thread, yarn/thread is made from fiber.

thank you
