Difference between facial foam and face wash

Both facial foam and face wash are face cleansing agent
But there is a difference between them is that the face wash is a foaming cleanser whereas cleanser or facial foam is non foaming in nature.
We have to wash our face after applying face wash whereas we have to wipe our face after applying facial foam.
