Fertilizers are chemicals which are used to to protect the protect the plants from rodents,insects,etc. and also for the longevity of the food crop. It causes a lot harm to soil and rivers.
Manures are cow dungs which are dried and put in the soil to increase the fertility of plants and also protects from insects. It is an extremely safe method of its use in fields.

Manure are the organic substances like vegetable peels etc. They are biodegradable in nature and not soluble in water. Whereas fertilisers are manufactured commercially. They are not easy to store and transport and readily soluble in water too
