Take an example :-
Suppose Folder as room and Hard Disk as Home and File as Utilities.
Now, As there may have many rooms in a home and Each room is used for a storing particular thing like - A room for study, Kitchen etc.
So, Folder is like the room where u store particular files like - A folder for Mp3 Songs, A folder for videos
now,
File - File is the utilities or things which u store in room. So, whatever u will store in the Folder is File. like - A particular image stored in the folder is a file
