Fishes can survive only in water whereas amphibian can survive on both land and water.

FISHES

fishes have specialized structures called the gills to carry out exchange of gases the gills are made up of a large number of thread like structures called the filaments these filaments are made up of small blood vessels called the cappilaries water flows over the gills filament in which exchange of gases between the cappilaries and water takes place

AMPHIBIANS

frogs are also amphibians they both live on land and in water on the land they breath through their lungs and moist skin on the other hand in water they breath through their gills
