Difference between forebrain midbrain and hindbrain

Hind brain is the display screen for the information which comes into the brain or goes out of the brain.The activities carried out by Hind brain are swallowing,vomiting and digestion activities.

Midbrain is the command Centre for sensory organs like eye, ear and skin. All the reflex responses originate in the mid brain.

Forebrain is the most intelligent part of the brain and performs the most complex task like controlling body temperature, sending hunger and thirst signals etc.

Forebrain the largest and the main thinking of the brain which receives sensory impulses from various receptors.


Mid brain is connect for brain and the hen brain which controls the movement of head neck and trunk to locate sound and visual reflexes that are involved in focusing the object is also controls reflex movement of muscles Pupil size etc.


Hindbrain it from connection between spinal cord and resistor brain it consists of three main parts in cerebrum pons and medulla oblongata.
